The Resurrection Project is looking pretty nice. The Poll seems to be working just fine. We're looking good on our member count. Overall, the site isn't doing too bad. The one main purpose of this site, is not happening though. Well, the bands are all ready to go, but they need a place to play. We should be putting on a regular show. Weekly would be very nice. I was kind of hoping to get the Res proj going as a traveling show. More like an organization uniting heavy bands all over the place. Kind of like a fight club. Maybe that's something in the future. For right now, I think I would like a venue to house weekly Resurrection project shows. If anyone can help me out on this, please let me know.

I'm sure Meltdown would jump at the chance to do this.. They don't have much of a "built-in" audience though. They are an all-ages venue though. One thing you should try to make sure is that they can host an all ages event.. The kids are what is really driving heavy music these days.. The show we played this weekend was mostly kids and it was nuts. They were really into every single band that played.
I'd rather play to that crowd than 25 drunks at the Continental any day..

I like Meltdown, but it's just too far away. But, everyone's got to start somewhere.
I would love to get a booking agent to volunteer for the Resurrection Project. They don't even have to be a real agent, they just got to be able to book shows for the project. Anyone can do it. You just have to have the time. If you know of anybody that would be willing to help me out, please let me know.

I don't have time to help with the booking but 3lb. Mindtrip would probably be interested in playing these shows. Make sure you get a hold of us!

i think the best venue in town is showplace theater, there are ways to get around ESI to book it without having to buy those damn tickets, the only thing is that you have to be able to get a shitload of people in there to make any money (not that that is important) but you have to be able to pay the rent, and the staff, its really not that hard to do, e-mail me (david@threebelow.com) or allen (allen@threebelow.com), we may be able to help.

i think the best venue in town is showplace theater I'd have to disagree. I don't think I've ever seen a local band play there and NOT get butchered by the sound guy. I've seen 3 Below there several times and while you guys were great, the sound system wasn't It's also in a shitty neighborhood. Other than that, it's got a great stage and it's a huge room. -Craig

yeah , the trouble is getting a good soundguy, jesse from dr. dirty sanchez is the best guy for that room , if you want to hear how he mixes, go down there on the 6th of april, he usually does a great job , and he loves metal

I think ist's a great club to play at. Free parking. The neiborhood isn't that bad. Jesse is #1 and a very cool guy. A great place for a Ressurrection Project show!
